Community and Safety Guidelines

Before work begins, customers and providers should confirm scope, pricing, qualifications, insurance where relevant, and disposal responsibilities. Specialized work (hazardous tree removal, electrical, structural, hazardous materials) should go to properly licensed professionals. Payment is arranged directly between you — Battiste Group does not process payments.

Before work begins

  • Agree in writing (messages are fine) on scope, price, timing and what's excluded.
  • Ask about qualifications and insurance where relevant. Battiste Group does not verify credentials.
  • Clarify who handles disposal and any dump or hauling fees.

Work that needs specialists

Dangerous tree work, electrical work, structural repairs, roofing, and hazardous-material removal (asbestos, mold remediation, chemicals) require properly licensed and insured professionals. Don't post or accept these as general gig work.

Respect and honesty

  • Be accurate in listings, quotes and profiles.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or requests to move off-platform to avoid accountability.
  • Never share passwords or financial account details in messages.
