How It Works
Simple steps for both sides of the job
Battiste Group is a local marketplace. We help you connect — you decide who to work with.
For customers
- Post your job. Pick a category, describe the work, add photos, and set a budget or request quotes.
- Receive quotes. Local providers send a price, scope, timing, inclusions and exclusions.
- Compare and choose. Review profiles and reviews, message providers, then accept one quote. Your private address is shared only with that provider.
- Coordinate and review. Mark the job in progress and completed, then leave a review.
For providers
- Create a profile with your services, service area and availability.
- Browse local gigs by category, city, budget and date.
- Submit a quote — you set your own price. Withdraw it any time before it's accepted.
- Complete jobs and build your reputation through reviews from completed platform jobs.
Payments
Payment arrangements are made directly between the customer and provider. Battiste Group does not collect card details, hold funds, or guarantee payment.
Job statuses
Draft → Open → Assigned → In Progress → Completed. A job can also be Cancelled.
Before work begins, customers and providers should confirm scope, pricing, qualifications, insurance where relevant, and disposal responsibilities. Specialized work (hazardous tree removal, electrical, structural, hazardous materials) should go to properly licensed professionals. Payment is arranged directly between you — Battiste Group does not process payments.
